Phuket Banana

From a Rural Kitchen to a Phuket Banana Brand

It started with Operation Smile, where I tried banana crisps and dried bananas made from a cancer-stricken farmer’s homemade recipe. The taste stuck with me, but I was surprised by how little she sold. Even with such a good product, her income barely covered living costs, let alone cancer treatment. I saw potential in her recipe but realised that a good product alone was not enough; she needed a way to reach a larger market. I sent countless cold emails to find a company willing to work with her, negotiated the terms of the partnership, and took charge of communication between both parties to turn the idea into reality. Together, we developed Phuket Banana, improving production standards, packaging and distribution while expanding her product range. The partnership has since created jobs in her community and increased revenue by over 500%, with plans to reach international markets.

I wanted to do more than help her sell her products. I am now designing an affordable machine specifically for her recipe, using precise moisture control to prevent mould without chemical preservatives. I also hope to turn discarded banana leaves into organic soap. By combining engineering with business, I want to make production more efficient, reduce waste and create opportunities for her community to grow alongside the business.

Ergonomic Wearable Rehabilitation System

IoT jacket with embedded sensors & edge-ML for posture correction

After experiencing back, arm, and neck pain from long study sessions, I realized how difficult it was to find time for physical therapy appointments. This inspired me to develop an Ergonomic Smart Jacket that guides upper-body stretches using embedded sensors to track posture and movement, alongside custom software that recommends and guides appropriate exercises. I am currently in the process of filing a patent with the Thai Department of Intellectual Property.

Designed for students and office workers, the jacket aims to make rehabilitation more accessible by bringing stretches directly to the user, reducing travel and recurring clinic costs. Its short, posture-triggered sessions also make it easier to fit exercise into busy schedules, encouraging consistency rather than relying on users to remember lengthy home exercise routines. Rather than replacing physical therapy, the jacket is designed to complement it through everyday, preventative support.

When a hospital expressed interest in the project, I began thinking beyond the engineering itself. I realized that developing a solution was only the first step; understanding its market, making it affordable, and finding ways to bring it to the people who need it are equally important to creating meaningful impact.

Redshift Racing

Driven by my passion for F1 and motorsport, I built Redshift Racing, an F1 in Schools team, in 2025. As Team Manager and Engineer, I led a team representing Thailand at the F1 in Schools World Finals in Singapore in October 2026. We were 1 of 91 teams selected from 30,000+ teams worldwide.

I directed the full project lifecycle: designing and manufacturing a miniature F1 car in Fusion 360 with ANSYS Computational Fluid Dynamics for aerodynamic testing; securing THB 900,000 in sponsorship from Fortune Global 500 companies and 10+ partnerships (including AirAsia, Loxley and Singha); managing finances; delivering the pitch presentation; and driving marketing and media promotion. I also drove sustainability initiatives such as merchandise made from recycled materials, a collaboration with Precious Plastics, and 3D-printing filament produced from waste materials. Our outreach inspired at least two additional teams to join the program the following year.

The Effect of Wind Direction on Wind Turbine Power Generation

I constructed a functional wind turbine prototype using a wooden base, steel tower, and custom-built nacelle to house the generator and gearbox.

Through extensive research into turbine aerodynamics, lift and drag forces, blade geometry, and energy conversion, I established the theoretical foundation for the investigation. I engineered a 38:13 gear system to increase generator rotational speed and developed an Arduino-based data acquisition system integrated with Python to automate voltage logging across 13 wind angles. The collected data was plotted and analyzed using mathematical models and equations to calculate electrical power, power coefficients, and turbine efficiency. I consolidated the research, methodology, calculations, graphs, and evaluation into a comprehensive technical report, identifying a maximum turbine efficiency of 7.28% and evaluating experimental limitations and potential design improvements.

In the future, this research could inform turbine alignment strategies and engineering improvements to maximize energy capture and advance renewable energy generation.

Internships

Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF)

Policy research

During my internship at the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF), I researched and assessed the feasibility of the Thailand Individual Savings Account (TISA), a government-backed, tax-incentivized savings initiative by the Ministry of Finance and the Stock Exchange of Thailand, inspired by the UK's ISA model. I analyzed its proposed design, including tax deduction caps of 500,000–800,000 Baht per year and minimum holding periods, and learned how policy incentives shape investor behavior and how fiscal costs must be weighed against Thailand's narrow income tax base. This experience strengthened my policy analysis and critical thinking skills.
